Cut Fastball The youngest Hastings is at his best on the mound when he can successfully locate his cut fastball. When thrown correctly, Hastings can maneuver the ball from the inside part of the plate to the outside corner, all the while keeping it low and quick. Twelve-to-Six Curve As was shown in last year's HMWL Championship game, Will Kenney can pitch dominantly when he locates his over-the-top curveball. Although slow, Kenney's knack for hitting the upper part of the plate with a dropping curveball can leave hitters scratching their heads and swinging at air.
