Known by many as simply "Muffin," Craig Hastings's history in wiffleball is storied. Always a league leader in games and at bats, Hastings is greatly experienced in wiffleball lore. At the plate, he is always a threat for the big blast, and has a knack for finding a hole in the defense. On the mound, he is commonly referred to Jekkyl/Hyde, as his pitching success is very inconsistent. But when he's on, he's unhittable. His tailing fastball is deadly when Hastings correctly works the outside corner. In addition to his skills, Hastings's efforts go beyond the field, always helping to progress the league in the right direction. Most recently, Hastings has upped his wiffleball reputation with a MVP performance in the 2004 HMWL Championship.
