Without a doubt, Matt Cassaro is one of the greatest to ever walk the grounds of Hastings Park. He has always been known as the league workhorse from the hill, with the career lead in innings pitched. In addition, his bat is the perfect blend of muscle and finesse. His list of accomplishments is large. Cassaro can boast his League2k1 championship for one. And after a horrific end to 2002 (yielding the game-winning homer in the Wiff 2.0 Championship), Cassaro bounced back like none other, taking home both the MVP and Error Boy Awards for pitching in 2003. Perhaps the most pure hitter in the game, Matt Cassaro always seem to get his bat on the ball, rarely striking out. His dedication and intensity for wiffleball are unparalleled.
